The Dangers of 3D TV
With every technology there is some component or the other that is not favored by the health department. There is always a part of the technology that causes a segment of conscious consumers to stay away from the product. Since years we’ve only heard 3D viewing in theatres and this new form of technology has not been tested by the masses yet. So before you decide to buy a 3D TV, there are a few things one might have to consider. Although there are 3D TV dangers, most of these have solutions.
As per a survey conducted in the United States of America, almost half of the population wants to buy this form of technology and like to try it out. Most of us still remain in favor of it, and why not? You can now have a 3D experience right in your living room. But bringing back the focus to 3D TV dangers, here are a few quick things to remember:
At first it has been observed that there is always a potential warning stated before any 3D experience that teenagers, pregnant women and sleep deprived people should be careful. Researchers say this warning is only included to avoid a lawsuit against the service. The reason being those who have weak eye muscles may suffer from severe headaches or even disorientation.
- Another impact on one’s health maybe watching a 3D movie in an intoxicated condition might lead to mass disorientation of the eyes thus making it harder to even walk for an individual. That is why it said please check that you have had enough sleep and that your eye muscles are strong enough for a 3D TV experience.
- Another complaint is that since it’s a new technology one can’t invest hundreds of dollars and rely on it just based on reviews on the internet. All the 3D TV’s can only be viewed by using 3D glasses and it is believed that a long term use of these glasses can cause harm to the eyes.
- The last possible one of the 3D TV dangers among the others is that they can’t be viewed from a wide angle as compared to HD TV which has a 170o wide angle. Besides since it’s a new technology it costs around $200 to $300 more than a normal HD TV.
These products do not have any substantial effective harm specifically, and therefore one does not and should not hesitate to invest in them.
